taylor + taylor | the tea room wedding
Q. How did you two meet?
A. We met through our mutual friend Chelsea. We went golfing with her and her then fiancé. That night I told him he should to take me as his date to their wedding :) He thought I was crazy!
Q. What do you guys like to do for fun?
A. Golf, sushi dates, spend time with family and friends, lake weekends, traveling to new places
Q. How did he pop the question?
A. We attended Taylor’s nephew’s birthday party with the plan to leave early to head to the lake where my parents live. Little did I know, their house was full of all of our closest family and friends waiting for our arrival. My aunts popped out from underneath the deck asking what we were doing there. Then Taylor led me down below where he got down on one knee in front of all of our closest family and friends. The biggest and best surprise of my lifetime.
Q. Favorite thing about each other?
A. Taylor’s way of finding the positive in every situation. He is the most loving and caring man I’ve ever met and is constantly putting his wants on hold to make sure Brody & I’s wants and needs are met.
A. My favorite thing about Taylor is her immense heart. Obviously, it is common for people to care about their significant other, family, friends, and others that are close to them. Taylor takes that to another level though. She is constantly thinking of ways to care for me, Brody, our family, and friends. This includes going out of her way for time together, reaching out through calls/texts, thoughtful gifts, comments, and she does all of this with no expectation. She does it because that is how much she cares about her family and friends. I was initially attracted to Taylor because of her beauty, and amazing personality. However, I began to fall in love with her when I saw her interactions with Brody, her family, her friends, and my family. That was when I officially knew that she was the perfect person for me
Q. How did you know he was the one?
A. It was always so easy. From the beginning, we just connected in so many ways and I knew I could never go a day without him in my life again.
Q. What was your favorite thing about wedding planning?
A. Everything I loved getting to plan out all the little sentimental details of our day.
Q. Special things that you used in your wedding?
A. My great grandma’s ring bear pillow. My mother in law made my veil. Fun fact napkins and of course the LED light up sticks were the highlight of the night!
Q. Advice for couple in engaged?
A. Soak up every moment of the planning and events leading up to your big day. Make sure to stop and look around at all of the amazing people alongside of you.
Q. What’s next?
A. Traveling as much as possible and then babies;)
